Hey there! I'm Rob Kies,
and I have something to admit to you...
Whew! I feel so much better now that's out in the open. Honestly though, can you blame me?! I knew I was hooked when I first saw all the amazing teal silkscreen Transfers and how easy it was to create some incredible and custom-made home décor.
I'm a chalkaholic!

I love unplugging myself from the corporate world and immersing myself into an artistic world of creativity - there's just a sense of accomplishment when you're able to create something unique. The best part - you don't have to be artistic or creative!
I have ALWAYS enjoyed crafting and making something with my hands for as long as I can remember. I have done Candle Making, Soap Making, Sewing, Cricut & Vinyl, Jewelry Making, Leather Working, Broom Crafting, Wood Working, etc.
HOT MESS ALERT
I won't lie - I can sometimes be
a hot mess when I'm crafting!
They say that life can be messy - well so can my crafting sessions, I just can't help it! I also seem to have an obsession with collecting and hoarding crafting supplies. Is this normal? My husband certainly doesn't think so, and I swear he's going to kill me if I keep bringing stuff home that I found "interesting."

One of my collecting obsessions are chalkboards - I LOVE chalkboards!
I have chalkboards all around my house, but I could never reproduce those beautiful graphics that you find in coffee shops / restaurants. No matter how much I try - I just can't draw. That's when Chalk Couture came to my rescue. I was FINALLY able to make some incredible designs using Chalk Couture's reusable silkscreen Transfers and chalk paste. Now, I'm captivated with creating designs on wood, glass-pane windows, metal pans, t-shirts, and canvas bags - the possibilities are endless.
I believe my husband has come to accept that crafting will always be a part of my/our life, which is good for his own health. (hehe) In all seriousness, even though he's a gear-head (cars) - he has always been supportive of my interests, and he is always willing to help. I couldn't be luckier or more blessed than I am with him in my corner.

I also enjoy helping him and others - it's just my giving nature to help people. The thing I enjoy the most is helping others discover their creative side, or at least help unleash it. Adulting can be hard and stressful, so it's important to find an outlet and release that stress. Life is too short - why not craft and have some fun?!
I hope this gave you a little insight about myself, or at the very least provided you with a laugh. Come on, admit it - you laughed! Maybe just a little bit?! Thanks for taking the time to read and if you would like to know more or have any questions, feel free to contact me.
If you have questions or need assistance, please TEXT "help" to (843) 508-4951 or message me on Facebook - I would be delighted to help you.
